What is Sound Therapy?
Sound therapy is a therapeutic practice that uses sound vibrations to bring the body and mind into balance. Using instruments like singing bowls, gongs and chimes to create frequencies that slow brainwave activity, it gently guides you into a deeply meditative, restorative state.
In this relaxed state, it can help to lower stress hormone cortisol, regulate the nervous system and allow the body to begin to repair. Over time sound healing can support a greater sense of clarity, resilience and inner peace. It’s a powerful yet non-invasive way to support your wellbeing. Many people integrate sound healing into their wellness routine to:
-
Reduce stress and anxiety
-
Improve sleep
-
Support emotional processing
-
Ease physical tension and pain
-
Feel more grounded
-
Reconnect with themselves
Group Sound Baths
I hold monthly sound baths In Hartley Kent (Hartley Pavilion, Manor Field, Church Road, Hartley, DA3 8DT). The booking link can be found further down on this page.
During a group sound bath you’ll be guided into a meditative state that encourages deep relaxation, emotional release and an altered state of conscious where healing and restoration can occur.
These sessions are perfect for friends, family, community gatherings or to come on your own to take time for yourself.
No prior experience with sound healing or meditation is required. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring anything that helps you feel comfy (pillow, blankets, yoga mat, etc.).
Sound Therapy 1:1
An individual 1:1 sound therapy session will last 1.5hrs. We begin with a health questionnaire into your current physical, mental emotional state. I’ll then guide you through a sound journey, supporting an altered state of consciousness, deep relaxation and a release of any emotional blockages.
I offer packages of 1, 3 or 6 sessions.
Corporate Wellbeing
Bring calm and clarity into your workplace with a tailored sound therapy session for your team.
Corporate sound baths are designed to reduce stress, boost focus, and promote overall wellbeing, supporting both individual and collective resilience in high-performance environments.
Sessions can be delivered in-person or online and typically include a short guided relaxation followed by a sound journey. No prior experience is needed, and the setting can be adapted to suit boardrooms, wellness days, team retreats, or employee wellbeing programs.
