Somatic Coaching
Somatic coaching is a trauma-informed, body-based approach to strengthening the nervous system, and building resilience. Rather than focusing only on thoughts or mindset, it works directly with the body, where patterns of stress, and old survival responses are held and expressed.
Using the Core Rising Method, combining intentional body-based practices (for fight/flight, freeze, shutdown), emotional processing, somatic tracking, parts and inner child explorations, to work with the nervous system and the deeper patterns that shape how we experience life.
Many of the patterns people struggle with today began as ways the nervous system tried to protect them. People pleasing, hyper-vigilance, shutdown, anxiety, and disconnection, are often survival responses rather than personality traits. When we begin to understand these responses through the body, we can start relating to them with curiosity and compassion instead of frustration or shame.
The purpose of somatic work and body-based practices is to safely work with your body, so that you can change how you feel and operate day to day. We practice working with emotions as sensations, instead of cognitive concepts or the story behind them, to grow the safety and capacity needed to feel them.
This work isn’t about fixing you, or calming down. It’s a client-led experience to explore your inner landscape, that introduces new awareness and possibility, which can support old survival patterns to begin softening and shifting.

Somatic coaching is not a replacement for medical treatment or therapy. It is a client-led supportive space to rebuild relationship and connection to your body, and develop a deeper sense of safety and self-trust.
Somatic Sessions
I offer private somatic coaching in a supportive one-to-one container. You can choose between 1, 3, 6, and 12 sessions.

✓ Personalised body-based regulation practices for between sessions
✓ Unlimited messaging support between sessions if a package of more than one session is purchased
✓ Sessions can be scheduled weekly, bi-weekly, or with a few weeks in between, so we can work at a pace that feels right for you and your nervous system

Sessions begin with body-based regulation practices and nervous system education to build capacity and a sense of safety in the body.
As that capacity grows, we begin exploring deeper layers of your experience, which may include:

HEY, I’M EMMA
For years I lived with chronic fatigue, anxiety, pain, overwhelm, shutdown, and chronic symptoms. Nutrition and functional medicine helped transform my health, but I still found myself stuck in the same patterns. People pleasing, disassociation, anxiety, and fear, despite feeling like I was doing everything right.
Yoga, sound healing, and stress-management practices brought temporary relief, but I was still stuck in the same patterns. It wasn’t until I began somatic work, that things started to shift.
This work has helped me build capacity, reconnect with my body, understand survival patterns, and begin to orient away from survival. It’s helped me not only feel safe in my body, but to navigate difficult emotions, and bring me home to my body.
